Who we are

About Me & Why I Built This

I created this training platform after years of working as a Tactical Medicine and Active Shooter Instructor, where I consistently saw the same issue during training: most training dummies and supplemental tools are limited, expensive, and unrealistic.

Throughout my career, I encountered countless products that only supported one or two training functions. These limitations often created unnecessary hurdles during instruction and forced instructors to rely on imagination instead of experience. I saw firsthand how this affected confidence, skill retention, and readiness in high-risk, low-frequency situations.

Because of that, I set out to design a multi-capacity training solution—one that integrates tactical medicine, defensive tactics, and arrest techniques into a single, practical tool. My goal was to create something low-maintenance, affordable, lightweight, and easy to use, without sacrificing realism or functionality.

At its core, this product focuses on foundational emergency response skills. I wanted a system that helps reduce skill perishability by making training simple to implement and repeat. The result is an all-in-one training platform designed for in-service instruction, scenario-based training, and individual practice.

What Makes This Training Dummy Different

This system was built to solve the problems I experienced in real training environments—not add new ones.

Key features include:

  • Lightweight design (approximately 15 lbs) for easy transport

  • Wet lab and trauma-based applications for realistic medical training

  • Flexible positioning (kneeling, recovery, and more)

  • Keyed and keyless handcuffing practice

  • Collapsible and transportable for rapid setup and breakdown

  • Durable enough for indoor and outdoor use

Because it’s easy to move, deploy, and use, this dummy minimizes training complacency and encourages more frequent, meaningful repetitions—whether in a formal class or single-officer training.

The Training Gap I Wanted to Fix

Too often, training relies on instructors asking students to imagine injuries or scenarios. I wanted to change that.

This product allows responders to physically experience and perform lifesaving tasks, such as wound packing and patient stabilization, instead of simulating them verbally. By doing so, trainees gain stronger muscle memory, better situational awareness, and greater confidence under stress.

It turns scenario-based instruction into hands-on, immersive training that better prepares responders for real-world events.

Expandable Training Options

To increase versatility, I designed optional attachments that expand training possibilities:

  • A portable handcuffing stand for instructional demonstrations

  • A hemorrhage control kit for wet lab wound-packing training

  • A durable transport case for compact storage and mobile training environments

These additions allow instructors and agencies to tailor the system to their specific needs.

Looking Forward

In the next 5 to 10+ years, I see this product growing into a full training company—or expanding through licensed partnerships. More importantly, I hope it continues to improve first responder training by increasing confidence and competence in tactical medical care and arrest techniques.

My ultimate goal is simple: to help responders perform better when it matters most.
